Life on the River

The Two Rivers serve as a metaphor for our family, reminding us of the two rivers that have come together to create our family and define who we are. One river is symbolic of our Jewish heritage, bringing depth of understanding to the mysteries of God, lighting the way to knowing and understanding the Messiah. The second river is symbolic of Christianity and our faith in Christ, through which the power, grace and Spirit of God is unleashed in our lives and we are born again to new life in Christ. Together they have become an unstoppable force, influencing our lives in everything we do, leading to the truth and the presence of God in our family. We live at the confluence of these two rivers. Two rivers, coming together into one. Our Jewish heritage and our faith in Christ. Together they are a powerful force, overcoming obstacles and changing the landscape of our lives forever.

How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers!  But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night.  He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers.

Psalm 1:1-3
